Sir, I was working as TGT on 1.1.2006 in the senior scale of pay Rs 6500- 200-10500. on 1.9.2006 , I got selection scale of TGT 7500-250-12500. After that I appointed and Joined as PGT on 18.10.2006. In which manner my pay should be fixed? (i) What will be my pay in pay band after joining as PGT? (ii) What is the general rule for fixatiuon of pay if a person promoted/appointed from senior Sclae or selection Scale to next higher garde with higher responsibilities ?
