You would be forgiven for jumping at the chance to catch 99, expecting a movie starring Cyrus Broacha, Boman Irani, Mahesh Manjrekar, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu and Simone Singh to offer something worthwhile.

Unfortunately, 15 minutes into the film, you know exactly why it isn’t waiting out the strike with the rest of the industry. Sachin (Khemu) and Zaramoud (Broacha) are con guys who end up being goons for betting honchos Kuber (Mistry) and AGM (Manjrekar). They live in a
