Asia Markets: Financials lead gains after U.S. unveils bailout plan

Asian markets advanced Monday as financials such as Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group advanced after details of the U.S. government's $700 billion financial rescue plan were unveiled. But resource sector shares such as BHP Billiton dropped as the U.S. dollar strengthened against major global currencies.
