Abhishek Bachchan who is always known to be on a little heavier side has bid a good adieu to his fat by becoming 15 kgs lesser in weight for his character in Mani Ratnam's Ravan. Not only his body but his hair has also been trimmed to give his character a real feel. A source reveals, "Mani Ratnam wants Abhishek to have a chiseled body for the role of Ravan. This is why Abhishek is working hard on his body. Mani also suggested that Abhishek sport a crew cut so that he looks convincing as Ravan. Hakim Alim has worked on Abhishek's new hairstyle."
