Caste Cauldron - Tamil Nadu moves to reserve quotas based on religion

The Tamil Nadu government on Thursday announced that it willpass an ordinance for reservation for minorities in the state.
The ordinance will come into effect from September 15, the 99thbirth anniversary of DMK founder andformer Tamil Nadu chief minister C N Annadurai.
The ordinance provides for exclusive reservation of 3.5 percent each for Muslims and Christians in educationalinstitutions and emplo
