New Elective Subjects

CBSE Central Board of Secondary Education is now planning or we can say introducing the following two new Electives subjects from the current session 2008-2009: It is a great news for the students they can improve their percentage of marks if they could not get marks as per their expectation in main exams. The New elective subjects are 1: Heritage Crafts and 2: Graphic Design

Students XI class can get some extra knowledge on main CBSE website which will be available to students after some time. You will be provided all the information about the detailed syllabus and other useful information shortly on CBSE

All the interested students, those who want to avail the benefits of these subjects can download the form from the CBSE website and the students will have to pay Rs. 1000 per subject in the favor of Secretary CBSE.

Amendments for Blind students

There are some amendments in CBSE rules for Blinds students: All Blind, Dyslexic and Physically Handicapped students of Senior School Certificate Examination will be permitted and allowed to use an amanuensis and will also are allowed to take some additional times:

60 minutes for Blind, Dyslexic and Physically Handicapped students in case of 3 hour duration paper.

In case of 2 and ½ hours paper they will be allowed 50 minutes extra times.

In case of 2 hours paper they can take 40 minutes benefits.

In case of 1 and ½ hours duration paper students can take 30 minutes extra time for the completion of paper.
