The dacoits in a daring operation broke into the Chaitanya Godavari Grameena bank and decamped with 47 kg of gold worth Rs. 4.81 crore that was pledged by the public. According to police sources, this is the biggest in the history of Guntur and suspect the handiwork of interstate gang.
