Hypnotherapy Hypnosis is a useful adjunct to treatment but it is not psychotherapy in itself. In our rehabilitation centre, the psychotherapists deal with hypnosis too, because a good hypnotherapist must first be a good psychotherapist. That’s why we encourage our clients / patients to get ready for psychotherapy sessions before going for hypnotherapy. The subconscious mind is the seat of emotions, imagination, memory, habits and intuition & the pathway to the super conscious. It is the core, the essence, of how we experience ourselves and the world. Hypnosis is required to reach the subconscious mind when an individual is awake. Hypnosis is an altered state beyond ordinary consciousness, but a natural state that can occur spontaneously. There are a great number of ways hypnosis can be induced and deepened. Once in hypnosis, during therapy, there are a tremendous variety of healing applications in harnessing and transforming the subconscious. Hypnosis can dramatically help with improving performance, health, confidence, relationships, sports activities, concentration, recall and creativity, chronic or acute pain control, overcoming habits, addictions, fears and phobias; self-discovery, stress reduction, healthier self-expression, past traumas.
