Exiled Bangladesh writer Taslima Nasreen has complained that she is not being allowed to move out of her house at an undisclosed place in Delhi and there are curbs on those who wanted to meet her. In an e-mailed communication to those who stood by her and backed calls for her return to Kolkata, she said her visitors had to take permission from "higher-ups" in the government and their time and duration of meeting her was fixed by them. Nasreen, bundled out of Kolkata in November following widespread violent protests by a Muslim group for her alleged anti-Islam writings, said those who had indulged in arson and violence had not read her book Dwikhondito.   read more »
