Indian CFA candidates cannot register even with US address???

Students in India have not been able to register for the Level 1 Chartered Financial Analyst examination of the US-based CFA Institute to be held in December, as a result of the ongoing legal battle.
In the last examination, held on June 3, students could at least register for writing the exam at a foreign location, but this time they can’t do even that if trying to register from India.
The Delhi High Court was expected to pass its judgement on August 7 on whether CFA Institute can be allowed to conduct operations in India, but the case has been rescheduled to September 6.
