The Indian rupee breached towards the 47-mark a US dollar on Monday, September 29 on account of heavy dollar demand from oil refiners and importers to meet month-end import commitments.The partially convertible rupee stood at Rs 46.90/91 against the USD in the early hours of trading, weaker than Friday`s close of Rs 46.54/55.
