MANAGEMENT APTITUDE TEST (MAT) Management Aptitude Test – Popularly known as MAT is a National Level Entrance Examination conducted for Admission to PGDM / MBA programs offered by various Professional Colleges and Universities in India. The Centre for Management Services (CMS), a division of All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts MAT at various Test Centres located in India and abroad. MAT is usually held 4 times in a year – February, May, September and December. Qualification : The minimum qualification needed to appear for MAT is a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute. Candidates appearing for their final year Examination can also appear for the test provided they fulfill the eligibility criteria at the time of Admission. Marks : The minimum percentage of marks at graduation is not decided by the MAT conducting authority. The Institute/University accepting MAT scores decides the minimum percentage of marks for admitting students. For this refer to the prospectus of the particular Management Institute / University. Age : There is no age limit for appearing in MAT.
