Kings XI Punjab 94 for 3 in eight overs (Jayawardene 36*, Pomersback 25*) beat Delhi Daredevils 118 for 4 (Sehwag 51*) by six runs on the D/L method.. Not even 20 overs were bowled, but there was no shortage of excitement and drama as the Kings XI Punjab inched closer to a semi-final spot with a win that in the end was sealed with a six off the final ball of the match. It all started with a light drizzle in the start and a little while later the match was halted for a while and the ground was covered up. But soon enough the players were back into the play and that is when the rain started pouring again and caused the Delhi Daredevils a heavy blow. The Duck-Worth Lewis method was implemented and Kings XI Punjab were declared winners by 6 runs
