Jharkhand Academic Council - Nervous over results? Buy a phone - Council charts out strategy to ease exam fear

For those who took the matric and Intermediate exams this year, the mobile phone will serve as a boon to rid them of worries related to results. While May 10 has been fixed for declaration of matriculation exam results, May 31 has been set for the declaration of results of the Intermediate examinations. To end problems faced each year by students who are not able to check results on time due to overcrowding at Internet cafes, the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has come up with the idea of sending students a text message. This would help them know their results as soon as they are declared. With link failure and line congestion being the common problems, the council is hopeful that the results will reach the eager students well on time this year.
