Nayantara is no doubt one of the most popular Malayalee heroines in South India. She is in demand in spite of the controversies surrounding her. She has many hit films to her credit like Chandramukhi, Natturaajavu, Thaskaraveeran, Vallavan, Gajini, Yogi and she also made a guest appearance in the recent blockbuster Shivaji, starring superstar Rajinikanth. Now, the news is doing the rounds that she is demanding Rs.75 lakhs per film.
