Next best investment, buying land in villages

Due to phenomenal growth of real estate prices in Indian cities, party is over for middle class people to own piece of land in cities. Present trend is to invest on land in villages. People are investing on land far away from cities, in some cases even as far as 250 KM. Prices rose suddenly for dry and unused lands in those areas.
