I am a resident of K-12, Andrews Ganj Extension, New Delhi and residing with my wife and daughter for the last more than two and half years. While my name alongwith my wife appear in the voter's list it is strange that my daughters name is not included at all although her name appeared in the earlier list and was later verified and acknowledged by the officer deputed for the purpose. My repeated attempts to get matters sorted out from the Lajpat Nagar Electoral Office has failed. While the new Voter's I Card for my wife is yet to be received inspite of complying with all formalities my daughter's name is yet to be included in the voter's list not to speak of the Voter's Identity Card. I have now been asked to fill up the forms again and they plead ignorance about the previous records of my filling up necessary forms or for that matter the verification done by their own officers. I wonder if anybody is responsible for the pathetic state of affairs and who is ultimately to do the needful and whether they have at all a sense of purpose. If this happens to a Central Government functionary living in a Government allotted accommodation it is easy to gauge the fate of the common public.

Dear CEC Delhi, despite my sincere and repeated attempts to call the people friendly number, there has been no response. I applied on line long before the election process started without any response from the officer concern. I did vote in my state 4-5 times earlier in 4-5 elections but i failed to enter my name in Delhi, since i moved out of my state 6-7 years back. I kept sending repeated emails in this regards without any positive outcome. The one and only call i received from an unknown number with a thunderbolt info saying that I was not available when they visited (which is not possible as my family was always available). I tried calling back on the same number without success. I really donot know how would EC ensure, many concerned youth citizen of this democratic nation like me and my wife and million others, who desires to respond to constitutional provision and call to apply franchise right, yet fail to receive a respond to applications. Extremely sorry for this. Now could i request you to please step in and help me and my wife have our election identity card while we await your promt action to register us for the same? Ab aap bata e ye ki esmai ham logon ki kya galti hai or ab hame kya karna padega. KYUN KI HAM LOGON KE NAM TO VOTER LIST SE CUT CHUKE HAIN.

hope you would have submitted form 8A for change of address. Ask for status with election commission's office. But for present general elections, you will have to go to your old place, as it has been published for verification. It will not be practically possible to change it now
