Many people seem to think he used steroids to recover from his shoulder injury prior to the World Cup, and covered it up with diuretics. This is not true.When you submit a sample for drug testing, it's split into two samples, A and B. If your A sample is clean, that's it. But if your A sample is positive, your B sample gets tested. ONLY YOU are notified if your A sample is positive. The sporting authorities are only alerted when your B sample is confirmed as positive, which is six weeks later.When Shane Warne packed up and left the World Cup, only his A sample had been tested, and only he had been informed of the positive result. He could have kept quiet about it, played the World Cup and waited for the B sample result. He didn't; he told his teammates, held a press conference, and left the country. Why would he take the honourable option if he was cheating to get there in the first place?If people want to have a dig at him, say something about his womanising, his gambling, his smoking, his womanising, his food-intake or his womanising.
