American actor Patrick Swayze’s ‘The Beast’ bosses have praised his wife Lisa for the strength she has given him to continue work as he battles pancreatic cancer. Swayze has been battling the deadly disease for a year, and he has been filming cop series The Beast side-by-side chemotherapy treatment. His wife of 34 years, Lisa, remained a constant presence beside her husband on set, and it was her love that helped rally the ill actor, according to producer John Romano. “I think we were all very moved by the closeness and humour of their relationship,” the Daily Star quoted Romano as telling People magazine.
