With receiver power off, connect the satellite finder between the Receiver and the LNB of the dish in question (keep the satellite finder close to the dish). Observe the connection markings, "To LNB" connects to your LNB and "REC" connects to the receiver. Set your receivers "menu" to Antenna/Dish setup, to the satellite you are going to peak/find and the one that satellite finder is connected to.
