Task Force for Bangalore formed: Bangalore

Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa will head the Bangalore Infrastructure Development Task Force (ABIDE) according to a press release from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Thursday. The release stated that Member of Parliament H.N. Ananthkumar will be the vice-president and Rajya Sabha MP Rajiv Chandrashekar will be the convenor. The following experts will be the members of the task force: Bangalore North and South district in-charge Minister Katta Subramanya Naidu, Transport Minister R. Ashok, former Chief Secretary A. Ravindra, Dr. Devi Shetty of Narayana Hrudyalaya, Chairman of Biocon Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Ramesh Ramanathan of Janagriha, expert on Transport Sri Hari, Anita Reddy from social service organisation, environmentalist and journalist Nagesh Hegde and Lakshminarayana of Bosch company will be the ex-officio member.
