The Auto expo in Delhi held quite a few surprises for the car loving junta of our country.Prime among those surprises was the Tata Sumo Grande. With a 2.2 DICOR engine ,3 row seating,2 Ac compressors with a separate blower for the 2nd and 3rd rows,power windows power steering,temperature control,fire and stain resistant upholstery, height adjustable driver seat and CD/MP3 music ( I could go on and on with the specs), this car seems packed with all the goodies all SUV enthusiasts can drool over. The promised mileage of 16-20 kmpl of diesel seems hard to deliver on,we shall only know when the car hits the road. The car comes in three available variants -Lx,Ex,Gx with two seating variations ,6+1 and 7+1,and seven shades. The Price range is Rs.6.55-7.49 lakhs.This will definitely affect the Safari and Scorpio markets. The launch for this beauty is supposed to be sometime in the month of February,I just can’t wait to see this baby purr!!!
