Any decent programmer would have realized this some time or other.
For a not-so-good programmer, it is easy. Do as he always do. Promotion, hike, bike, manager position...
For the better programmer who tries to simplify stuff, it is no promotion, less hike..
Also, if you cannot explain your solution to others in simple terms, you have still not understood the problem.
If your job involves writing complex piece of code, think over this.
