The recession continues to have its impact on films and film budgets. There have been enough films which have been put on hold due to the strains on budget. Even big filmmakers are being forced to revise their budgets. One of the directors who is facing a real problem with budgets being curtailed is JP Dutta.

After his disastrous Umrao Jaan remake starring Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan, the director has been working hard on his next film which is said to be a
