Dear Sir, I would like to mention that now a days we talked a lot about Industry Academy interface interaction. But the services done with private companies which is real field experience and always give advantage to students are not considered as experience with teaching post while joining. Therefore, I request you to provide a provision for addition of private sector rich experience in the services of teachers. I did my Ph.D. from IIT, Delhi in Chemical Engg. in year 1993 and after completion of Ph.D. joined a leading consultancy company in Delhi who was dealing with Industrial Environmental management plan. I work therefor around 7 years and last post I was holding General Manager in that company. But due to my interest in teaching and research I joined as Assistant Professor, (Lecturer Scale 8000-13500)in Department of Environmental Sciences at G.B. Pant University Pantnagar in year 1999 after serving around 7 years in private sector with rich experience of industrial environmental management, due to my keen interest in teaching and research and thought my this experience will be utilized by students of M.Sc./Ph.D. Environmental Science students in this University. But I sorry to say that there is a no provision for addition of private service experience when I had already paid income tax and CPF during my private service experience. Therefore, to attaract person from industrial experience a provision must be provided to add their services in teaching profession. I personally feel that real private sector experience give a different type of knowledge and orientation to students and altimately students get benifited but bigest looser is person who join after private service experience. Moreover, at some places services of private colleges or added in Universities/Govt. Engg. College. Therefore, I request you to kindly give me guidance and provide a provision in 6 pay commision implementaion guidelines because person like me suffer a lot in his carrier and ultimately demoralize the person.
