Vista to Generate $40.7 Billion in European Revenue

A study by technology research firm IDC says Microsoft's Vista OS will support over 1 million jobs in Europe and create an additional 500,000 new positions. Vista will be installed on more than 30 million computers in the UK, Germany, France, Denmark, Spain, Poland and Denmark in the first year of shipment, and 105 million units will use the software worldwide.
