Guys, on the periphery of Rajgir is located Rajgir Sanctuary covering an area of 35.84 sq. kms., home of the barking deer, langur, giant squirrel, leopard and nilgai (blue bull). A visit tho this sanctuary also gives a peep into the glory of historic Rajgir, the seat of Indian empire in 6th century B.C., closely associated with the life and teachings of Buddha and Mahavir Teerthankar.
