Well done Alaap for your great composition Jia Jia Re in Zindagi.I personaly feel that this song would have been a super truper hit song if you would have choosed Shafqat or Kalash Kher or KK to sing this sufi style song instead of zubin. All the compositions of your album Zindagi, including Tu Hi Tu Hai sung by Shafqat, Sham Dhale and Pal pal bekal by Chitra are excellent. God bless you Alaap.

I am feeling this after read all these above comments.If a song or a composition or an Album became hit, we should give the credits to all.Its a mixture efforts of 3 artistes first,means The composer,Lyricist and then the singer....If a composition and lyrics are initially nice it wil definately touch the human's heart...or makes human bound to give their comments...I personally congratulate the composer Alaap ,lyricist Ravi and Zubeen.As I came to know from the above writing Alaap(Dudul Saikia)is also from Our North East.Though I saw dudul name's on the Cd cover.I thought two different persons.Anyway, We are proud of him too along with Zubeen and others....Great Job keep it up.

All the songs, all the compositions so nice, I listen the CD 3-4 hrs a day, specially Jia Re Jia Re, Tu Hi Tu Hai, Sham Dhal Jaye, Pal pal bekal, Urdte Parindo. I have read in various news papers recently about you and your association with your own, self created album Zindagi. People who are trying to suppress your talent and trying to take extra credit through your Album Zindagi, they will be no where soon. I’ve recently came to know that he is basically from Jorhat,Assam (India)and now settled at Mumbai, owning his own Recording Studio “Bird Audio Workstation” at Andheri Mumbai. This is in response to some comments about the identity Alaap. This album “Zindagi” has been beautifully thought/ created/ composed/ conceptualized/ arranged & directed soley by Alaap. Here we are stunned by the perfect blending of sufi music with indian folk music, which really touches our heart & have some lasting resonance effect. The songs were well sung by Zubeen/ Chitra & Safqat Ali (Pakistan). All credit goes to Alaap for presenting such an extra-ordinary album, which has not only enriched our Indian Music but also crossed the LOC & bonded the two nations.
